A.I.H.S. Gift Shop

This year's limited edition ornament is now available. We welcome your ideas for a theme for next year. Collect the entire series; these beautiful ornaments are the perfect gift for friends or family who have moved away from the area. They're sure to become keepsakes and heirlooms.

As these are being produced in a limited quantity, they will be sold on a first come, first served basis.


The Museum Store was opened in 1992 as part of the overall plan. It is housed in one of the renovated chicken houses located just north of the main farmhouse.

The store sells items made or donated by Islanders or others who are members of the Society. Profits from sales benefit invdividuals as well as the Society, and are used to expand the merchandise in the store, all of which is representative of past and present life on Anderson Island.

The store is open on a regular schedule during summer months (normally weekends 10 to 4), and at announced times in the winter
